Description

Fast, Reliable, Easy to Program

The R17 is completely self-contained vertically articulated robot arm designed for processes requiring long reach and/or difficult access. The design utilisies light weight, high speed, high efficiency hybrid stepping motors micro-stepped for both power and speed. Each motion is monitored by onboard encoders to stop all motion in the event of a collision or interference. The HS version utilises high power servos making it faster than any robot in its class.

The R17 package includes a multi-processor robot controller with proprietary ROBOFORTH II software. A software that continues to amaze users with how easy it is to use.

P17 Pneumatic Gripper

The P17 pneumatic gripper is a parallel sliding gripper which uses air pressure to operate its open/close mechanism. The gripper comprises a pneumatic circuit and gripper with tapped holes for attachments.

EG17 Electronic Gripper

The P17 pneumatic gripper is a parallel sliding gripper which uses air pressure to operate its open/close mechanism. The gripper comprises a pneumatic circuit and gripper with tapped holes for attachments.

TC17 Toolchanger

The TC17 Toolchanger option is designed for use with the R17 robotic arm and requires an air supply to operate. Comprising two parts, the TC17-R robot side adaptor and the TC17-T tool side adaptor, the unit is supplied complete with the necessary valves, pneumatic circuits and software.

The benefits of the toolchanger option is the ability to expand the capability of the robot enabling it to handle a vast range of item types and sizes. With multiple attachments, the R17 Toolchanger can perform tasks which may require varied grip and/or manipulation patterns.
